Why we exist

Feed the Body, Mind and Spirit exists to meet practical needs with compassion—and to point people toward hope, belonging, and lasting community.

Our roots go back to about 2017–2018, when neighbors began feeding people experiencing homelessness and doing street outreach alongside ministries and Gideons partners. We kept this work under an LLC so we can stay focused, accountable, and free to serve well.

Today we still believe that a meal, a ride, a roof connection, and a caring relationship can open doors—for the body, the mind, and the spirit.

Neighbors we walk with

We welcome people from every background. Our outreach focuses on three communities that often overlap—and that deserve dignity, patience, and practical help.

Food & essentials

Meals, groceries, hygiene kits, and everyday items that help someone make it through the week with dignity.

Transportation to resources

Rides and coordination so appointments, shelters, food banks, and partner agencies are actually reachable.

Housing connections

Warm handoffs to housing programs, shelters, and community partners—navigating options together, not alone.

Partnerships that multiply care

We collaborate with ministries, community groups, and service providers so no one has to carry the whole load alone.

Three equal ways to take the next step

Whether you need help, want to give, or hope to serve—you belong in this circle. Choose the path that fits today.

Request help

Ask for food, transportation, housing connections, or a referral to community resources. We’ll respond with care and honesty about what we can do.

A Phoenix-area house on the horizon

As the Lord leads and resources allow, we hope—around 2027—to establish a Phoenix-area house for outreach, housing support, and recovery community, including space connected to Celebrate Recovery.

That vision is a hope we hold loosely, not a hard promise. For now, our hands stay on today’s meals, rides, and relationships—while we pray and plan for what comes next.

— Community reflection

Help is not a handout when it is offered with dignity, patience, and a path toward belonging.
